This Concert was unique in that every piece was performed with full orchestral accompaniment. As ever, the Edinburgh Players helped present a range of exciting, colourful and, at times demanding operatic choruses. All the pieces were sung to arrangements by the popular 20th century composer John Rutter and were enjoyed by choir, orchestra and audience alike. We were also privileged to have, as compère for the evening, Richard Bourjo, who introduced the music with style and humour.
